Dr. Jennifer Hines is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst with over 30 years of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis, special education, and systems-level leadership. She holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, a Master of Education in Special Education from Texas State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin.

Dr. Hiness clinical career spans direct service to individuals of all ages, with specialized expertise in severe behavior and a current focus on supporting neurodiverse teens and adults as they navigate transitions into post-secondary opportunities, such as college and employment. She founded and served as Executive Director of an ABA clinic for over a decade and served the State of Texas as both an Autism Specialist and a Neurodevelopmental Disorders Specialist through the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, where she authored landmark policies on ABA and Autism services. She also serves nationally as a consultant helping employers build more inclusive hiring practices for autistic individuals and leads her own consulting practice.

Dr. Hines is deeply committed to advancing the field of ABA through professional service and public dissemination. She serves the Texas Association for Behavior Analysis (TxABA) in multiple leadership roles, including Secretary-Treasurer, Executive Council Member, and Chair of both the Professional Issues and Development Committee and the Public Dissemination Committee. Her advocacy work has extended to state government councils, co-authoring grant expansions, and shaping statewide autism policy.

In higher education, Dr. Hines has been teaching undergraduate and graduate courses since 2019, bringing real-world clinical experience into coursework. She joined the A&M University San Antonio ABA faculty in 2024. Dr. Hines brings the same philosophy to the classroom that she carries into the field: every learner deserves to be met where they are and supported in reaching their fullest potential.
