Lisa Vrana, M.Ed., is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Office of Clinical Experiences at Texas A&M University–San Antonio, where she contributes to the preparation, coaching, and supervision of emerging educators across school communities. With over three decades of experience in education, she has served as a TEA Master Teacher, Instructional Coach, and Intervention Specialist—roles that have shaped her commitment to teacher development, instructional excellence, and student learning.

Throughout her career, Lisa has supported teachers at every stage of their professional journey, from preservice candidates to veteran educators seeking to refine their practice. Her work emphasizes reflective teaching, data‑informed decision‑making, and the creation of learning environments where all students can thrive. She is known for her collaborative leadership, clear communication, and ability to translate complex instructional concepts into practical, actionable strategies for classroom success.

Lisa holds a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Stephen F. Austin State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from The University of Texas at San Antonio. She also maintains Texas teaching certifications in grades 1–6 and Texas principal certification, grounding her higher‑education work in educational expertise.
