Melissa M Jozwiak


Melissa M. Jozwiak is a Professor of early childhood at Texas A&M University- San Antonio. She has worked in the field of education as an early childhood and secondary teacher, program director, teacher trainer and professor. Her research interests focus on examining continuity and discontinuity in early childhood education and early childhood systems with an emphasis on developing community-based Laboratory Schools and School-University Partnerships. Melissa has presented at numerous conferences at the local, state and international levels. She is PI or Co-PI on grants totaling over $8.9 Million, author or co-author on over $6.8 Million in external research or laboratory school contracts, and led the $20 Million capital campaign to fund Educare San Antonio. She is the co-author of Continuity in Children’s Worlds: Choices and Consequences for Early Childhood Settings.
