Jennifer De Leon has had multiple roles for A&M- San Antonio over a 9-year span: 

~ Lecturer of First-Year Seminar (Dual Credit) = (present position)

~ Multiple Measures Advising for Summer TSI 

~ Instructor for the Special Education Department

~ Adjunct for Field Supervisor for the Educator Preparation Program (EPP)

~ Jag Tracks/First-Year Seminar for the Student and Academic Success Department

~ Academic Success Advisor for TU CASA

~ A tutor for TExES core Exams With EPP

~ Partnered with another faculty member to help build an "Online Instruction Faculty Handbook" for the College of Education and Human Development

While on her adventure at A&M- San Antonio, she also worked at the Baptist University of Americas as an ESL Instructor. As an alumnus of A&M- San Antonio, Mrs. De Leon started her alternative certification placement with South San Antonio ISD (SSAISD). Her service with SSAISD consisted of:

~ Special Education Inclusion Teacher (ES)

~ Behavior Unit Teacher (ES)

~ Resource & Inclusion Teacher (MS)

~ Pre-K Inclusion Teacher (Harlandale ISD)

Mrs. De Leon’s diverse areas of instruction have helped her offer college students many resources to advance their areas of study and achievement. Since she was a first-year student herself, she can share in her students’ struggles. Her educational achievements are:

~ Master’s degree in Special Education from A&M- San Antonio

~  Bachelor’s degree in Justice Administration with a specialty in Social Services from Wayland Baptist University.
