Scott Gage is an Associate Professor of English and Director of First-Year Composition at Texas A&M University-San Antonio. His current research addresses the intersections of rhetoric, violence, and writing curricula at Hispanic-Serving Institutions. He is co-editor of Violence in the Work of Composition: Recognizing, Intervening, Ameliorating. Other examples of his work appear in College English, Computers and Composition, and the Journal of Writing Assessment, among other journals and edited collections.
