Scott Gage is an Associate Professor of English with specialization in rhetoric/writing studies, narrative theory, and genres such as fiction and screenwriting. He holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Louisiana State University and a Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Composition from Florida State University. He teaches courses in professional writing, creative writing, and rhetorical and narrative theory. His edited collection Violence in the Work of Composition: Recognizing, Intervening, Ameliorating is available through Utah State University Press.
