Dr. Lewis is Professor of Management in the College of Business at Texas A&M University-San Antonio (A&M-SA). Her prior administrative appointments include serving as the interim dean of the College of Education and Human Development, the associate dean of Operations and Accreditation in the College of Business, and as the founding chair of the Management and Marketing Department at A&M-SA.

Dr. Lewis earned a Ph.D. in social psychology with a minor in statistics from Indiana University—Bloomington in 2000. After completing her doctorate, she trained in organizational behavior as a post-doctoral research associate at the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses on Organizational Behavior, Teams, Change Management, Negotiation, Motivation, and Statistics.

Her research interests focus on social identity, motivation, teams, and managerial cognition. Her research has been published in top journals such as Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, the Journal of Social Psychology, and the Journal of Management Education.
