Angel Vega, M.P.H, has been an Adjunct Faculty member in the Department of Counseling, Health and Kinesiology, and the Department of Student Engagement and Success at Texas A&M University-San Antonio since August 2020. He holds a Masters in Public Health with a focus on Global Health from Southern New Hampshire University.

Mr. Vega also serves as the Veterans Certification Coordinator at the university, bringing practical insights to his teaching. His teaching philosophy emphasizes student engagement, community partnerships, and alignment with learning outcomes. With a background in public health research and community outreach, he incorporates social awareness into his courses.

Committed to student success, Mr. Vega actively participates in faculty meetings and continually seeks to improve the learning experience. His goal is to equip students with tools for academic success while fostering a sense of community within the university setting.
