Dr. Kristin Morgan is an accomplished educator specializing in Literacy Education, the Science of Teaching Reading, Dyslexia, Instructional Coaching, and Professional Learning Communities.
With over 20 years of experience as a teacher and instructional specialist, Kristin has dedicated herself to curriculum development, instructional enhancement, and the facilitation of professional development sessions. Before her focus on curriculum and instruction, Kristin served as a reading specialist, demonstrating expertise in identifying reading challenges and providing tailored assessment and instruction to elementary students.
She holds a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Literacy Studies and a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction, specializing in Reading and Literacy. Her research interests include the development of tools, instructional supports, and evidence-based practices that help pre-service and in-service teachers strengthen their knowledge of the Science of Teaching Reading and develop the instructional skills needed to effectively teach students to read.
