Biography
Corey Stone is a First Year Seminar instructor. Originally from East Texas, Corey spent most of his career at Texas A&M University in College Station, working as an advisor, recruiter, program coordinator, and lecturer within the Office of Diversity & Inclusion at Mays Business School. He is currently pursuing his doctorate in Educational Leadership & Policy Studies at UTSA, where his research interests are the experiences of first-generation college students at large public universities, long-term outcomes of early-college high school programs, and campus staff rights and working environments. He has other professional experiences with the University of Houston, McLennan Community College, and UTSA. Outside of higher education, Corey enjoys spending time on the family farm, traveling to new places, and honing his photography skills.
