In addition to being a member of the affiliate faculty at Texas A&M University, San Antonio in the Department of Counseling, Health and Kinesiology, I am an Assistant Professor of Instruction in the Department of Psychology at Texas State University. There, I teach Psychopathology, Forensic Psychology, Health Psychology, and Social Psychology. I am also a member of the Adjunct Faculty in the Department of Counseling, Leadership, Adult Education, and School Psychology at Texas State University. I received my bachelors degree in Psychology at Texas State University as a Psychology major and Biology minor. At Texas State Unviersity, I also earned my master’s degree in Health Psychology, LPC clinical track.  I earned my doctoral degree in Counselor Education and Supervision at St. Mary’s University, San Antonio. Texas. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and own a private counseling practice in San Marcos called, “Metamorphosis.” I am a nature-based therapist and provide nature-based therapeutic interventions, including walk talk therapy. I have been committed to overall health and wellbeing for many years and am also a fitness coach. I grow orchids as my hobby.
